It is only the option to buy a ticket. So if you buy 1 Terrace at $165 (plus the 7% fee) and LSU makes it to the game, your credit card will be charged an additional $300 for the face value of the Terrace ticket.

Bama reserves are astronomical...........confident bunch.

I also purchased Reservations back in 2007, not for $10 (I wish) but still a great deal and everything worked out perfectly. I just bought 4, not risking them selling out prior to the Bama game, because I can't afford to let the market take over like it has for Bama!

Same exact thing happened to me .... had to get in touch with the company ti get it resolved. To their credit, the refunded my money.

Anyone have any good ideas on how to now hedge your bets? I was waiting until after the K-State game to buy Oklahoma futures, but now thats caput....I think Stanford loses to Oregon.....Clemson could be a value buy @ $80...Not sure Okie St can beat the Sooners......

I actually still think OU is a good deal. If Clemson and Stanford lose, OU winning out likely puts them in the BCSCG.
That said, Oklahoma State is a great bet IMO because they probably won't lose until OU...so their reserves have a long time to increase in price (and then you can actually sell before their OU game at a profit).

Stanford lose
They lose this weekend @ USC or Nov 12 vs Oregon and leave the Pac 10 without a hope for a spot in the NCG and I'd be shocked if Oregon would get the nod as the best 1 loss team.

Clemson
Has a cake walk until S. Carolina the last week, and could very well beat them. I wouldn't be surprised to see Clemson in the NCG since the ACC Coastal Division is not that good and will probably be playing Vtech again in the conference tourney.

I don't see them increasing in value too much, if any, as everybody knows they have to go through OU to get there.

I ran some numbers on a Bama/LSU hedge. You figure one of them is very likely to get there, and it is conceivable that they both will. If you hit just one, you more than cover. But I watied too late, and the Bama prices shot up out of reach. I own three options on LSU, and they have shot up in value.

i'm still kicking myself for not buying Bama plaza level when they were at $165. I'd be golden - at least financially - regardless of Nov. 5 outcome.
oh well.
oh well.

Curious if anyone still owns Oklahoma reserves? I actually think Stanford will lose to Oregon and Oklahoma will beat Oklahoma State and OU will play for the national title.

With that, you think OU would move ahead of Bama?

LSU reserves are about to skyrocket due to the Bama homers. I expect after our win vs Arkansas they will be up to $600 or so.
