Washington's stadium is right on the water, so they have "sterngating" where everyone takes over their boat and tailgates
That is nice... if only they had a real stadium.
The funny thing is that most people in the country probably think LSU takes their boats to the game...

What are you talking about? It seats 73k, not like it's a small stadium. It's just old and needs repairs, but it's still a good stadium

Welcome DawgPack looking forward to the banter. I promise we won't let ya'll down this September when we come see the Tigers play. I promise not another a fanbase will never spend more money passing a good time.

I saw tailgating special a few years ago that featured Washington and they were sipping on wine on their boats and eating fancy food.

That's ridiculous. It'll be 10:30 here in Ga.

this was, by far, the most complete game i had ever seen. we scored on just about every drive and the TBS announcers did not stop praising us the entire game. It was a treat to listen to them.

thanks, I know you guys travel well, so it should be a great game. We're pretty hospitable for opposing fans as far as tailgating goes. Be sure to check out a game of beershoes (it originated here, it has since spread around the west coast) while you're up here, even join in if you want. It's kind of a mix of beer pong and horseshoes.

As for the game, I know it probably won't be close. Sarkisian has this program and fan base pumped up, but we just don't have the talent to keep up with you. I doubt it will be a 40 point blowout like some of you are saying on here; it'll probably be more around 20 points. That said, Jake Locker is a pleasure to watch, and if you haven't seen him, he's basically west-coast Tebow (actually a better runner, but a much worse passer at this point). Our defense has been terrible recently, but there is talent there. Our linebackers are definitely the strength, but our DBs have been downright terrible. This could be good for us because I don't remember your QBs being very good last year (I could be wrong though, I admittedly don't follow LSU except for the sportscenter highlights I see). Mason Foster is a play-maker, he led the pac-10 in tackles last year. E.J. Savannah is back from essentially a 1 year suspension (he got in willingham's doghouse over some minor things and never got out). His sophomore year he was one of the best LBs in the pac-10 and he could make it in the NFL. Donald Butler has pretty good speed and can lay people out if he gets the chance. On D-line, keep an eye on daniel teo-neshiem, he's a great player for us, expected to go in the 3rd round of next years' draft. On offense, our main weapon is of course locker, and he's surrounded by some very young, but talented players. D'andre Goodwin is our top receiver; not very physical, but a very solid player. On the other side is Jermaine Kearse, a young but explosive player. Our O-line is a mystery. They have potential, but last year they just got too overweight to keep up with pac-10 talent. Apparently they have averaged a 25 pound weight loss this offseason in our new program so they should at least be competitive. At RB we have a lot of young talented players. Not a lot of game experience, but I'd expect you'll see a combination of Chris polk (decommit of USC, he's very explosive, expect to see him in the slot a bit as well), demetrius bronson (our power back; only a freshman, but he looked great in the spring), and curtis shaw(sat out last year because of an illness in the family, but is back this year with 20 extra pounds of muscle. think of him as a combo of polk and bronson). TEs we have two very talented, young, players. Chris Izbicki (#4 ranked TE coming out of HS) and Kavario middleton (#3 ranked TE out of HS). That pretty much sums up our team. We're very young, but there is talent here. Every move Sarkisian has made so far has been the right one. I don't expect amazing things this year, but the program is on the right track. Looking forward to a great game this year!

That was one of TBS's first football games, and one of the announces actually described the game as a "slaughterfest," and both started laughing at Arizona.

Its a little late, but lots better than the ol' JP(Lincoln Financial) 11:30 am. Wonder what it would take to get the UF game to a 9 kickoff. Don't have a problem with the 9:30 kickoff. I remember having a blast for the Arizona State game a few years back, this should be similar(except for the score).
nice game you guys came up with. Any variety of a game where you can drink is usually fun

There will be a lot of Purple at those tailgate parties.

or VT 07, that was a pretty great beatdown, and plus they were ranked top 10

It is nice... just messin' .. the whole experience looks pretty damn sweet.. and believe me Tiger Stadium has its share of repairs as well... I think you will be in for a treat with LSU coming up there!
Oh yea, you mind posting some of the open container laws there?... so some rent-a-cop doesn't ruin somebody's trip (including my friends). We aren't really used to open container stuff.. well unless we are in Oxford or Gainesville...
