True

Wheres the list of QBs that were championship quality from Notre Dame? Brian Kelly wants a running QB, and would have went to the portal, even if Nuss and Howard both stay

Howard would’ve took over ..... If Howard ends up at Auburn or Florida and looks as good as expected Kelly needs to get the frick out of BR on the next thing smoking.

"Would" "if" ......

We don't know how Walker Howard will develop. We haven't seen enough of him in games this year to know if he's any good or not -- 4 pass attempts from a red shirt doesn't tell you much.

BUT ..... IF he goes elsewhere, starts, and looks good, while Nuss and/or JD flounder here at LSU next year .... that'd be a real bad look for the program.

We saw plenty JD to know he isn’t an above average QB for sure. What shite handling of the QB room from a guy who’s suppose be a 100 million dollar coach. Should’ve never hired his arse to begin with.

Let’s see 2, 80 yard games and 43 sacks taken. If you actually watch his games then watch an above average QB you can see he is below average at best.

they'll probably look like Burrow and Chase in that weak assed conference

And just like this year they will get their asses handed to them when they play the big boys.

Cherry pick much ? How do his other stats rank in LSU history?…passing/rushing?

How about in comparison to the 14 other SEC QBs?

Daniels v SEC
5th - QB rating
9th - ypa
10th - TDs
11th - ypg
1st - # of sacks

Wanna talk about cherry picking? LSU is one of the worst schools historically for QBs going back as far as you want. Of course he will climb high in stats especially when the game has been more offensive minded and LSU historically was a ground and pound offense. LSU couldn’t even get the running game going because his poor ability to stretch the field.

Try putting his numbers up against the best college QBs last year then get back to me. He isn’t even in the top 25 QBs in 2022 and won’t be in 2023.

So Nuss or Howard, neither of which could beat out Daniels, were going to be one of the best in the country. Ok

LSU set a record against Georgia's defense with a second string QB TCU could barely pass the 50 yard line against Georgia

They definitely have more upside considering 1 would be a redshirt sophomore and the other a redshirt freshman. JD is going into his 5th year as a starter and still has not figured out how to throw the ball downfield consistently and not get sacked every other play. He finished 3rd in the country in sacks taken as a 4th year starter. That’s not encouraging at all.

Walker would not hv beat out Nuss and he knows it.

That’s is the most likely answer to why leave!

TCU is the HOT name right now. Head coach gets them to the national championship in Year 1 with limited talent too.

TCU is in inferior conference, if he is worth his ratings he won’t finish college at TCU, he will transfer again to play with a major competitor.

Agree. And I think everyone (on the coaching staff) knew that last year. He was a running QB and a game manager -- just what we needed last year.

maybe ... not sure what happened, yet. but .... SOMETHING changed. WH went visited ND before he committed to LSU, was the first one to get on Instagram and say BK is "my coach". He was excited before the season started. Now, he's probably transferring out? Does seem strange.

I don't agree with this .... right now ..... not yet ...... let's see what happens next year, year after.

Think Joe Burrow.
A man has to know when to hold them and know when to fold them and start over.
Joe Knew. Hope it works out for W Howard.

Not true of the QB position.
