Ausberry is just a "Figurehead."
Verge was a "Panic Hire Public Figurehead" to get through the Kelly-Woodward-Landry mess in order to successfully hire Lane Kiffin.
Everything goes through Rousse and Mallet, with Ausberry making all the public comments after decisions have been made. (Like Alleva taking public credit for Will Wade, when it was Eddie Nunez that did the search and found him at VCU)

I appreciate the credit. We'll see if Wade is rehired, and we'll also see where the wolfpack end up after the next seismic shift in conference reshuffling.
