Duval came out to warm up and the band was late getting off the field. He stood still as the band marched around him. One of the LSU band members took offense that Duval did not move completely out of the way and pushed Duval. Duval pushed back.
That was the extent of the "arse-kicking."
Funny, I can vividly remember Duval getting his arse knocked to the ground.
Oh, and I'm pretty sure it was a tuba player.

But we weren't stopping anytime soon, they couldn't get of the field in time. Then the front line in the L (woodwinds) let the kicker break ranks, then the second, the crowd booed cause the kicker broke ranks, but the last rank, baritones, shoved the guy a little bit, as he broke ranks, then the crowd went wild. After the whole band was off the field the kicker was close to the band and some band members where talking shite to the kicker like, "why don't you get off the field". Well, it turns out, a tuba shoves the kicker (the crowd loved this too and cheered much). The ESPN camera man got it on tape and it is all over TV. Checkout espn.com…go to college football, look for game highlights LSU vs Auburn and you will see the tuba shove him. Maybe even plays of the week, we hope.

Yeah it was either 2000 or 2001 Auburn game and the kicker's name was Damian Duval and he got into a pushing match with a band member...classic right there

The band wasn't late getting off the fricking field!
Duval came out with his holder, several coaches and started kicking field goals while TGBFTL was still on the field doing their halftime show. Tiger Band closes a few of the shows by forming the big LSU and then floats it off the field into the South Endzone. (Where Duval was warming up) As the band was doing just this, Duval amazingly just stood there like an idiot. You could see it all unfolding as the band was headed towards the SEZ. Duval had plenty of time to get the frick off the field but just stood there. It was amazing to see. One of the stupidest things I've ever seen take place on a football field anywhere. Could have gotten much uglier than it did............

Duval was a giant bag of douche. It's rare to see Aubie fans defend him.

2001 was the "Auburn Sucks" game.

He was also doing it Before the game and Actually shoved a band member resulting in a flag. St Nick the decided to try an onside kick to start things off

The flag was because Auburn jumped up and down on the midfield logo.
