i loved Verne's call when we didnt make the touchdown from the 2 yard line on third down when he said "they'll have to punt". calling PP patterson was classy too.

Vern is an imbecile without anything remotely resembling a filter between his brain and his mouth.

I thought it was pretty loud in the SEZ. Like another poster said, it wasn't quite as loud (sustained) as the Bama game but definitely above average, especially in the 2nd half.

did you notice the relative calm that came over the stadium when PP took the ball back to midfield for the last drive? It seemed as if it was a foregone conclusion that we we would score a TD.
Yeah no one around me was nervous at all...It's like the oh this won't be a problem at all to score...
We looked like we were playing ULM agian except ULM could score this time

The pre-game and early part of the game was just ok. As the game proceded, it got loud and was a damn strong environment. In the 3rd QTR, things got really good, and kudos to the students for rallying with an 2003-UGA-style "L-S-U" chant after Ole Miss scored. The 4th quarter and ending of the game was classic Tiger Stadium, with a full moon and lots of crowd noise. When Ridley scored, it was electric. 99% of the fans were still in the stadium.
All in all, it was a game to remember and on balance a damn strong Tiger Stadium experience

I enjoyed this quite a bit.

I would read on this board the complaints about Lundquist this season since CBS picked us up so much. This game I tried pay more attention and listen to him to see what the fuss was about. He is absolutely terrible. Messes names up, plays called, with many stupid comments mixed in. Danielson is constantly correcting him.
