I wish they would.

I’ll never forget reading A Season on the Brink when Feinstein recounts how angry Bobby Knight was watching LSU film at how much talent Dale was squandering.

Unrelated, but we were talking tonight if LSU would ever invite Pokey back and give her the praise she deserves
Doubtful, just like they won’t invite Les back. Both gave us a ton of wins and postseason appearances, both had scandals that tarnished their tenures. I’d be very surprised to see either honored at a game.

No coach has ever not won a championship with the level of talent Dale Brown
Although we were tremendously talented, Guy Lewis never won one at Houston with Fly Slama Jama. I believe that team had 5 1st rounders including Hakeem Olajuwon and Clyde The Glyde Drexler. Shaq and CJ only played together one year. And although Shaq was awesome on D, he wasn't what he would become yet on offense. They still underachieved, but even the Georgia Tech team that beat them was also phenomenal with 3 NBA 1st rounders on it and a high 2nd round pick.

She did make it to the Sweet 16 or higher 7 times. That’s pretty good stuff.
Brown only did that 4 times. She also had about 250 more wins
Sue had great run. I don't think she ever won a regular season SEC title though. Brown won 4 regular SEC titles in addition to the Final Four runs and many other tournament appearances.

It’s hard to believe Sue was only 66 when she died. She looked about 85. Smoking will frick you up.

Haha. I actually had to look at your response more than once too before I saw any issue. So I'm tired... Yes, correction, Phi Slama Jama.

Unless the coach has won multiple national championships, they should not have their name on the court. We can argue till we are blue in the face about who is more dserving but, the bottom line is neither deserves that honor.

You don’t name courts for women’s sweet 16. The parity in Womens Basketball is worse than CFB right now and always has been.
