I'm saying that down the road this "eyeball test" BS will fade away. Alabama has zero hardware this year. I believe they are the second best team, but so what? Bama '11 will go the way of Nebraska '01 and Oklahoma '03: and unpleasant roadblock that prevented a more desirable match-up.

I would rather LSU be able to boast about beating 3 conference champs, and 2 BCS championship game winners. Alabama is merely a divisional runner up.

I disagree 100%. Years from now, history will look back and say we beat the Almighty Bama twice in one year, as opposed to beating flash-in-the-pan Okie Lite who no one will even remember won the weakass 2011 Big XII that one time ever.
