Our signature win this year is over Auburn who will be a 2-3 loss team

we can beat A&m, and Auburn will be a 2 loss team max.

no matter how much you want to blame Les or any of the coaches for the performance on the field...always remember that the coaches are not the ones executing the plays. they aren't the ones catching the balls, throwing them, making critical blocks, or running the ball...

remember that.

very very true, but they are the ones calling the plays and the ones making the game plans. against ole miss it didnt look like they had a game plan going in.

I'm glad we got AU early bc that team is improving. Has LSU ever gotten better over the course of a season? Doesn't seem like flaws ever get fixed.

LSU was not overrated. In the preseason AP and Coaches polls, LSU was ranked 12 and 13. After 8 weeks, those polls currently have LSU ranked 13 and 13. LSU is good but not elite, and certainly better than average. We just do not have the players on defense to be in the top tier. LSU is probably a 3 (maybe 4) loss team, and will probably finish close to its current ranking.

I wanna bump a thread I posted early in the season about our "cream puff" fools gold wins against teams like TCU and how we may be overrated...a post where I received 22 downvotes...but I think I've been vindicated.

LSU was NOT overrated. Clemson, aTm, Ohio State, Louisville, Stanford, Georia, South Carolina = overrated.

This LSU team would still beat any team in the country on a neutral field (except Bama and maybe FSU). imo

An over rated LSU with a Sr. QB and NFL caliber OC, no matter how bad the defense, should NEVER lose to the OM squad that took the field Sat.

Problem with this is the SR QB killed three drives, possibly scoring drives, in the first half due to very bad passes which he should have never thrown. You can't spot any SEC opponent 17 points knowing that your defense can't stop anyone.

I don't think so my friend, I think Oregon would blow our doors off. I predicated 9=3 this year, that is still a possibility, we are not an elite team this year. We are better than average this year, I think we should get used to it because the future doesn't look that bright. That said,
I'll always be a tiger fan though.
