Wanted to comment on your post because it was solid.

1. BEER - sell it during quarters 1-3
Isn't this a league issue? From what I always recall, it has something to do with a few of our SEC brethren being located in dry counties and therefore being unable to compete with alcohol sales... Maybe that is not the case. Seems idiotic not to do this, and I say this as a non-drinker. Not serving beer in Tiger stadium is in NO WAY preventing drunks...LSU might as well profit from the behavior rather than outsource it to various companies selling flasks.

2. HDTVs - put big ones in at all concessions and bathrooms. Long lines don't seem so bad with #s 1 and 2.
Seems like such an incidental cost in the grand scheme of things but would make for a big improvement.

3. JUMBOTRON - get one (hint: ours isn't one) and keep the ads off it
When not used for ads, our screen is quite large and nice. Certainly not the biggest or the best, but without a doubt very nice. The problem is that it is almost ALWAYS being used for static ads. May "favorite" times are when they pull down the replay screen and place the Team LSU corporate sponsors in that space and there is LITERALLY nothing but logos on the ENTIRE screen. It actually looks like someone has sarcastically done it to make the point about too much signage.

4. TRAFFIC - hire an independent, out-of-state traffic consultant with stadium event experience to monitor traffic patterns at big home games next year, and come back with recommendations to implement for 2015. The stadium expansion is gonna make things even worse, and we need some pros, unbiased pros, to tell the University what needs to be done. This stuff is above the BR cops' head.
All that.

5. PARKING - Identify areas of land for public-private partnership parking lots, with retail (ie, food, drink) and restrooms on the ground floor and mid-rise parking of floors 2-8. Private capital will pounce on these and won’t cost LSU a dime, other than putting up the land for lease. And LSU will make $ from the lease to the tenants.
Not a deal breaker for me as I have no issues with parking in the Hayfield Lots, but this is also a solid idea.

6. SHUTTLES - get some.
Same as above. I wouldn almost certainly not use them, but could see where others might benefit from them.

7. FIREWORKS/SMOKE - do both pre-game.
Good with fireworks, not a fan of smoke. I've actually kind of fallen in love with Miles "holding back" the team as they come out of the tunnel.

8. MUSIC - I realize this annoys people, but I say play whatever music the players/recruits want (at least the clean versions). It's more important that the players be wired. The fans will be wired if the players are. And this intimidates the other team's players to watch, especially during long TV timeouts. This happened against A&M Saturday during the opening kickoff. Their players were intimidated before the game ever started, having to be out on the field staring at our players dancing like banshees for three minutes before the ball was even kicked. You could see it on their faces.
Yes to all that. It's OBVIOUS when music that the players like comes on. While I'm not going to go download any of that crap from iTunes the day after a game, I'm glad they play it if it means the guys are excited to go knock someone out.
