I'll have to agree with those that remember that Texas A&M game in 89. That Aggie team was supposedly on another level talent wise, and their record certainly backed it up. The Tigers did it to em in their house with a Todd Walker grand slam.

The Walker grand slam was Omaha in 1993.

A seldom used player named Pat Garrity was substituted in the 11th inning - he thought Bertman was joking at first.

He hit an off the wall double to make it 5-4. They had to shut A&M down one more time after they took the lead.

In 2003 I think or maybe 2004, when we played UNC Wilmington and won 9-8 I believe in 11 innings.

The win vs Long Beach State in 1993 where we had to mount a huge late inning comeback to knock them off.

2000 supers. I was only 16 at the time and had never been to a big game like that at The Box before. I still get chills thinks about everyone chanting Omaha...Omaha in the 9th

Game 3 against UCI in 08 was pretty fun. Was with a huge group at Walk Ons and that place was going nuts when we went back to back to back

Those regionals when USC came to town were pretty awesome. Really good times...

As a few other have said that regional with USC in the 1990 was the best I have seen in person. Boone was sick for USC but LSU held them off.

That CSF comeback was pretty sweet too in 1998. That was the year the phrase 'gorilla ball' came about. Too bad the bats got cold in Omaha against USC that year. Still hard to believe that team lost 2 in a row to USC with a shot to go to the title game against Az St.
