3 seed is obviously the best case scenario. No way the committee leaves out the 3rd place team in the 3rd or 4th best conference. If we lose to a bubble team in our 1st game in NOLA things may get hairy, but still think we're in.
If we do end up w/ the 4 seed, hopefully it's still a tiebreak situation w/ Vandy. Technically we still finished 3rd, just lost the tiebreaker. May seem like a small thing, but perception-wise in the mind of the committee, could be the difference in dancing or NIT.

Anywhere in th top 4 is good--they all get first round byes. We have a chance for 4th if we win out. For us to tie vandy, they have to lose 2, and then they would still have head to head tiebreaker on the Tigers. 4th is good--bye, a quarterfinal game we can win, and then a shellacking by UK. No embarassment there because they will win the SEC tourney. I think we are a bubble team regardless of what we do--NIT would be a good building block. BUT, 21 wins is hard to ignore.
