Beat Arky to finally win a SEC November Game. Win the SEC West while beating Bama NEXT YEAR.

How in the frick would this ever happen? Have you been watching for the past 2 years?

Yeah, it is. What happens if you fire Saban after 2000 UAB or 2002 Arkansas?

There was also NO EXCUSE for losing to UAB or Arky those years, especially how the games were lost.

So why did Saban get a pass and win the LSU faithful over after those clusterfricks? Marked improvement in 2001 (SEC Champs, Sugar Bowl win) and 2003 (SEC Champs, Sugar Bowl win, National Title).

You're saying Miles shouldn't get that same chance?

Whether or not it would EVER happen is irrelevant. The point is, people are saying "nothing," which means even if that DID happen, they still wouldn't be won over.

An SEC championship. And not just an SECCG appearance.

The playcalling has been horrible all year. Even if that's Crowton's fault, LM has to recognize it. Calling the first passing play from the 31 might have been on Crowton, might have been a mistake. Calling the second was just stupid. Everything that happened after that was a complete clusterfrick and total confusion.

LM has had problems with clock management and game management since his very first game here.

Last night it cost us another chance (we had many) to win a game we should have won easily.

Worse, it embarassed the program and finally revealed the little man behind the curtain for what he is: not legit.

win against arkansas next week. Win the bowl game. Have a top recruiting class again and everything will be fine. I thought Crowton was a good hire but something seems to be wrong with the fit here at LSU.

A non-shitty offensive game scheme , a win over the Hogs, and a bowl win.

Crouton (Crowton) immediately gets fired (as the scapegoat for this game and the O this season). Win vs. R kansas showcasing RANDLE and SHEP with him calling the plays. Though I am having doubts that the players will show up! Hire a very sexy pick for OC come back next year and at least win the entire SEC.

Doubt that all that happens I just hate to see the programs recruiting slide in the process.

He will 4 ever be compared in contrast to $abun and thats prolly not fair but it is what it is.

He cannot win me back. He has outed himself as a coaching incompetent. The ONLY conclusion one can have going forward is that any success is in spite of him.

I've been a Les supporter all along. That yesterday turned me around. WTF was that? Did Crowton lose his headset?? Why didn't he mention something about the time??

A friend has been a huge Crowton fan since his days at Tech. Even he said last night that GC is an idiot.

Wherever I went last night, people were talking about that game. I almost took my LSU hat off to avoid being asked it so much.

Back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back games without the clock management-time out-delay of game-illegal formation-six straight passes-who's in charge crap we see these days.

Miles is a good man, loyal to the seniors, a good mentor. But he's not a good game day strategists, and that's what he needs to be if he is ever going to truly be an elite coach.

Miles won with Saban's mentally tough, disciplined players. Miles also initially was surrounded with good coordinators (Fisher and Pelini). They willed themselves to win despite the horrible game-day management.
Now, those players are gone and although the physical talent is still VERY HIGH, the players have not been conditioned mentally or with discipline, nor coached to a level that existed previously.
Chavis was a step in the right direction, but his OC decision will determine how long he stays. Why the coaches raises were brought up WHEN they were still baffles me.

Finally have a complete game where the Offense, Defense and Special Teams have a complete game with a thorough beating of Arkansas and the team they face in the bowl.
