Why? To take advantage of 8 men in the box.

To give Mett needed confidence and experience.

To Send a message to future opponents that we are

no longer one demensional!

"If they do that Mett will throw for 300+ and 4 TDs"

Does Miles have that in him?

doesn't their DC WIlcox like to blitz? he was at Tenn the last couple yrs, so we should have an idea of what he's gonna do (and vice versa).

Lose by 10. That's all. Not sure why people think LSU wins by 30.

Bc they out gained SDST 328-327
They gave up 200 yards on the ground @ 5 yards a clip
Bc the offense scored 14 points on SDST

Few things go in SDST favor and they win.

IMHO Washington wil bring up every one and the kitchen sink to stop the run. They will leave their CB's on an Island and dare LSU to throw the ball.

On offense they have a weak running game but a good passing game. I see them quickly deserting the run and going no huddle pass every down. I think WVU ran that against us lst year
.

I think this will be a test for our DB's.

Could be tough game for us or at least closser then we think

Washington is gonna have to try and have some balance on offense bro. Look at the Saints , Drew Brees is the best in the business at throwing the football, but we've all seen what happens, EVEN to them if they can't be balanced and have some semblance of à running game to keep teams honest. Teams will pin back their ears and get after the qb,  and will gamble at opportune times and sit on a route. Pick six, sack city. You HAVE GOT to have some balance. Make teams at least respect the fact that you might run.

I think their leading rusher had 66 yards on like 22 carries against SDST. I don't think they are very good running the ball.

I hope we crush them. I guess my concern is they run blitz , stack the box and we don't take advantage of it by passing.

It will be be a perfect test that we need. Our passing game needs extra practice, because we run so well. They'll give us the pass.

Our DB's need extra practice, we stop the run very well UW will pass more.

Oh, I know gotygers. I agree with you. That's what I'm trying to tell the op about being one dimensional against LSU

If I was a coach, I would stack the box against LSU and blitz almost every play. Probably gonna lose, but hell, what else you gonna do? Make the new QB beat you with his arm and hope he throws some interceptions.

We would have about 5 screen passes and 5 quick slants all go for long touchdowns. The other team would get some sacks however.

Maybe they watched the wash bowl game last year. Wash has no defense.

That's what my thoughts are. They are going to stack the box and make mett beat us if they can.
