It will be the first time a current big East member will have played LSU in Baton Rouge since January 3rd, 1898.
After we blindside their arse it may be Jan. 3rd 2298 before another Big East team comes here again.
Bring a camera and take pictures to show your grand kids.

The folks down near Marshall (forget the town...it's in southern West Virginia) are more folksy. Morgantown is more like a smaller version of Pittsburgh. That being said, their food really sucks. An Elmer's Glue sandwich would taste on par with most of their food.

With the help of google, I think I just found a couple of their on-line stomping grounds. I just joined this board. May be fun to jump in theirs and stir the pot

I like our QB situation vs. WVU's for 2010. JJ will still be here. WVU will have a new QB (I believe their QB is a senior). New QB with no experience in Tiger Stadium? Welcome to the jungle...

I have a brother-in-law who is 2nd generation alum and is a huge WVU fan (an also an LSU fan after living here for alot of years). My sister says she has been dreading the day LSU plays WVU for 30 yrs.
They are good people, good fans and very loyal to their team.
All that being said... I think they are in for along plane ride home after a good ole country arse-whipping of monumental proportions.

That game will be a slug fest. WVU's teams are traditionally fast and hit hard, not unlike SEC teams. However, they typically are not quite as big on the D-line or O-line as SEC schools. Our fans and their fans are both the best college football has to offer. I am excited for this game. Much more so than Washington this year.

StraightCashHomey21, do you live in WV? If so, what part? When I lived up there for a project assignment I rented a townhouse out in the Cheat Lake area.

Im from the dc area, I finished school there in 2008, Cheat Lake is great in the summer time we used to get shite caned and rent pantoon boats. I lived in some dumps there. Beechurst ave and price st.
For such a great campus we have some of the worst off campus housing around. Lots of slum lords and everything new is over priced

Is a great place to eat, if you love italian food. I recomend all the LSU fans who make the trip should check it out. Food in down there is much better than in wv for sure, ive been eating gumbo since I was little and last time I was down there I tried Boudin for the first time. Im gona make sure all my friend who make the trip down with me try it all.

StraightCashHomey21, did you ever go around that Grant Avenue area when you were in Morgantown? That place was crazy (the one time I drove down through there). Looked like a straight hellhole though. I actually used to work out at a Rec Center of WVU. It was near the basketball dome. I wish we would have had something even remotely like that at LSU when I was there.

Yea grant is a shite hole, I used to party there my freshman year if i wasnt at the freshman bars. The cops started cracking down on the parties there so I only went a few times a year. WVU is more a greek life and bars kind of school anyway.
