I gave my tickets away to the game because my 3 year old, at the time, was sick and Morgantown is like 0 degrees during the November & December games. I really wish we could repay you guys for your hospitality with the heat & humidity with a frozen trip to Morgantown next season in December instead of September. I have seriously seen WVU's field frozen before. And LSU will have no luck finding any available portable heating units anywhere near Morgantown for the sideline...ask Miami about that!
Anyway, my wife decided to watch the second half in the other room because of all the F Bombs I was dropping during the game.
Horrible, horrible night...I knew a bunch of people who had bought non-refundable packages to the BCS title that year prior to that game and I'm so glad that I didn't.
I got a bit of some redemption though after WVU beat Kentucky to make it to the final four. It was the first time I have ever experienced the final four and I was amazed by the amount of different team's fans I saw there trying to sell the tickets they had purchased in the Sweet 16.

By my reasoning LSU owes WVU for that national championship. Saturday night would be a nice opportunity for a recompense.
Well, everyone thought VTech deserved a win in 2007 since that was their first big game after the campus shooting; we bowed our head for them before the game sent up a prayer on their behalf and then beat the living stink out of them.
In your case; we are grateful that your guys choked, watching RichRod cry like a 12 year old girl after the game is my second favorite (have a great day) press conference of all time and we owe you a big thanks.
SO, on behalf of Tiger Nation we give you MountianMens a GREAT BIG THANKS!
The beating can NOW begin!!
Enjoy!

On my couch in Fayetteville, NC (Fort Bragg). As I watched it unfold I realized we were in. My wife (from WV and a huge WVU fan) was hacked off big time. Her family would not speak to me for months. Like it was our fault!

the refs tried really hard to give that game to WV.
Was thinking the same exact thing as I was watching it. Those Big East officials realized how important it was that WVU won that game.

la canada, ca.
i had watched the seccg game at my house b/c i was going to a "hollywood" party later. the party was mostly usc fans (and therefore anti-lsu.)
i got to the house in the hills, and was watching the pitt win. those usc guys kept telling me it wasn't gonna happen, and how usc was better anyway.
i was soooo smiling and happy, and their anti-lsu crap was just soooo rewarding. i knew we were going to the bcsnc and they were almost howling with pain.
i was also in close contact with some taf biggies who were still hoping miles would leave. they were still anti-miles b/c of arkansas.
i believe that is one of the reasons the big wig taf agreed to $4m/yr, b/c they were shamed by lm and his fidelity to his "damn strong team" AND all of a sudden they were going to the nc.
sometimes i think the anti-miles ranterds are actually paid by the taf big wig donors. they were about to stab lm in the back. it could'a be the donors who gave the mich story to herb streit.
whew...

I was in Orlando watching the game in a hotel yelling hard for Pitt to pull the eventual upset.

On the way home from the SEC Championship, buddy and I was listening to it in the car, and right as the 4th quarter was starting we were passing through Auburn. We talked about stopping, but I think we were hauling it back to make the Saints game the next day and it was already getting pretty late.

Didn't even watch the Pitt game. Found out the next day. I didn't think there was a chance in hell of this happening.

I was at my grandparents in Arkansas. We were watching the OU/Mizzou game and every time the WVU score would scroll across the screen I would count how much time passed between the last time it went by. My dad, along with my grandparents (huge Hog fans, refused to believe that Pitt would lose or that we would get in if they did.
