This was the official uniform when we were not wearing white jerseys. Only got to wear purple jerseys on few occasions, but the team really liked them.
I wish LSU would stay with the traditional uniforms with maybe all white on one game per year.

Nah… it’s all very subjective really and based in tradition that we’re used to seeing. Doesn’t have anything to do with color dominance and neutrals.

Other than the traditional GWG, this uni is the best color combination we have in our arsenal, by far. The others are not even close.

Big6 teams and power programs have two uniforms.
It consists of:
1. the SAME helmet for home and away.
2. A home DARK jersey
3. An away WHITE Jersey
4. The SAME britches for home and away.
……unless you are Swac or Missouri or Mississippi.
I’m totally fine with the tradition of gwg for home and away. But venting off these two jerseys is silly.
Again, I ask, what if ESPN changes our logo on bottom scoreboard banner with all white. People don’t recognize it.
Why throw away your brand?
