one of three to sleep outside the student section friday night and when the beach balls came down to the third row near me i told an upper classman to fricking pop that piece of shite and he said "no frick you this is fun"...i don't know what the frick he calls fun but thats just sad an upper classman needs beach balls to have fun at a matchup of two goliath football programs

WHAT is the POINT to the beach balls?
the students went out their way to spend more money on 50 beach balls than they do on a ticket to the game that were just going to get taken anyways. was it to show the security/police that the students can "out smart" them? if so, that is extremely sad. so POINTLESS. people were laughing at you, not with you.
Im a student and when i saw that i was embarrassed to be a student.
So to the students who started that dumb shite... GROW some balls, don't blow them up.

i never thought in my wildest dreams that the LSU students could act this way when i was growing up i looked up to them and thought they were the coolest thing since sliced bread and i never thought i would ever feel "embarassed" but when that went on its sad to say but i was indeed just that...embarassed to be a student

The sad part was that the Students decided to let all the beach balls go at the start of the third quarter when we are only down by 7 points and Georgia had the ball first! We were very much still in the game at that point and students were hitting beach balls around insteading of screaming defence and making noise. If we are beating Tulame by 40 points in the last quester and you want to play beach ball - have fun - who cares. But based on the opponent and the point in the game - it was ridiculous!

Ive been in the student section for a couple of years now and I've really seen a decline in the section. There are a lot of people sitting throughout the game and not even watching it or shouting or celebrating. I agree that the balls aren't that big of a deal.....if it was the fourth quarter.....and we were up by 30.....and it wasn't a top ten team.....in the conference.

We were only down by a TD and it was on the opening kickoff. Being down 24-17 isn't getting our asses kicked. Maybe if you'd pay attention to the god damn game and not your bleeding pussy from the beach balls, you would know that.
Why don't some of you cheer louder? The student section is the only part of the stadium that cheers loudly every play. If you people are going to keep generalizing everyone in the SS, then I'll just assume you're some old frick who sits all game and doesn't say shite.

Blaming the student section is dumb, if you wanna blame someone for not being loud enough, blame those sitting in the middle of the field. They file out quicker than anybody else, they were gone before the end of the thrid quarter.

I caught one of the beach balls when it came my way, popped it, then just threw it. That was so stupid when like 100 beach balls were flying around everywhere, and everyone is like OH SWEET LOOK AT ALL THE BEACHBALLS!

i really think we can all agree that calling them beach balls means that they should be reserved for beach use. Stadium does not equal beach, therefore beach balls should be banned at stadiums.
