Say what you will about the basketball team but please don't be ignorant. Butler is far from a no-name school
I'm pretty sure this is a thread about the basketball program, and we really don't give a shite about anything else about Butler right now. And pretty much compared to a big name school, like LSU, you are a no-name school. So congratulations that you are going there this year college is fun, but guaranteed Butler is as boring as shite compared to LSU.

Ohh and to be a big-name school, people have to know at least what state your school is in

a team we should beat
Why do you think Butler is a team we "should" beat? I think that's a discredit to Butler as a team. I don't think they are more talented but they are VERY disciplined like a said before. They focus on the little things and execute them perfectly. That's how teams with lesser talent make it against the bigger schools. Its the same in football. The Utah-Alabama sugar bowl is a perfect example.

Well "shouldn't" an 8 seed beat a 9 seed, isn't that why they seed teams, and thats why there are upsets, b/c teams that should win don't?

well smart people and/or people who know anything about basketball know where Butler is (Indianapolis, IN about ten minutes from downtown). Kudos on the Final Four appearance but this century Butler has been past the second round more. Let's try to keep the conversation geared toward basketball and not uneducated jibberish.

ESPN said Butler is not fast and tough enough for LSU. They continued to say Defensively Butler is too young to compete with the guys who were in the final four three years ago. That will be Temple and Mitchell.

Also I just saw Matt Howard shoot a three. He has a weird shot. He will have problems getting one off against Temple.

You were the first one to bring up something other than basketball with this statement
I've looked up and down in this thread and you were the first one to bring up anything but basketball
And what are you talking about
Once again a slap in the face about LSU's education and not ther basketball team, which this thread is about, well that was before you decided to join this thread

A 9 seed beating an 8 seed is most definitely not an upset.

Wait, smart people know where Butler is? Bad arse.

Yea it's no 13 beating a 4 or 12 beating a 5
But still if a 9 beats an 8 its an upset, small but still one.

Butler has been bounced from the tourney by an SEC team the last two years. This will make it three in a row.
Expect alot of minutes from QT on Howard. Howard will score in double digits, but LSU will shut down everyone else. Big night for Tasmin as he breaks out of his slump. Marcus will get his late.

getting a little defensive, aren't you? Try reading the Rant for more than 5 minutes and you'll see plenty of uneducated jibberish, and it has nothing to do with education.

Um... maybe you're not familiar with tigerdroppings.com, specifically the Tiger Rant.
But by all means, please try to stabilize the board. Your idealism is inspiring. But in the end, inevitably, we all fail at this endeavor.
So, without further adieu:
I didn't even know where Butler was until I visited Indianapolis for the Final Four in 2006. This obviously makes me better than you.
