9-3 would mean we beat either aTm or Bama. I'd take it for sure! But 8-4 more likely, and 8-5 with bowl loss is a good possibility.

The question doesn't need any more context. Would you be happy if we were to win 2 of the next 3 games? Regardless of who the 2 wins come against? I say yes and I am the ultimate positiger!

If LSU beats Bama, loses to A&M and Arkansas fans will still be ok.
If LSU loses to Bama, beats Arkansas and A&M, fans will be unhappy.
It's more about competing for championships and competing with elite teams than W/L record, if the team can't get into the championship game.
The W/L record is important, but who you beat is more important. Also, going out with a bowl win is EXTREMELY important this year. It sets the tone for the offseason.
