Pete Carrol is overated as a recruiter and a coach. He has the entire west to pick from. All of california, and he still loses 1-2 games in the Pathetic 10 a year

Please, enlighten us. But I'm gonna go ahead and bet you don't know what the frick you're talking about.
Anyway, Pete is much more suited for USC and Miles is much more suited for LSU. Both are much better fits where they are. I don't think Miles would have had near the success that Pete has had at USC. And I don't think Pete's style would work at LSU either. That said, Pete's resume is currently a good bit better.

How the NCAA has turned a blind eye to the Reggie Bush fiasco is outrageous...at the same time they reprimanded OU for the Rhett Bomar incident. If that happened at LSU the NCAA would be all over it.
