Who's Gonna Be Our Most Difficult Player to Replace?
Posted on 3/5/10 at 1:03 pm to BabyTac
When Skyler Green left LSU people said he couldnt be replaced, Trindon stepped in and accomplished that. We have a lot of play makers that can step up and make a play at KR and PR this year, I'd like to see Shep get a chance now that hes not a qb anymore.

Going with the thread on this one and saying it's a tie between Trindon and CJ just on their play making ability. Not necessarily because of their every down production, but because every team kicked away from Trindon and CJ made so many big plays for us this year on both D and Special teams. CJ couldn't play Safety as well as other guys in the NCAA and that may be replaceable, but his big play threat, that is not as easy to find.

I'd go with Trindon, too.

Holliday with a slight edge over Riley and Black. He forced so many short and out-of-bounds kicks in addition to his great returns. If the rumblings about RS coming out of spring ball are true then perhaps the transition won't be so bad.

Going into the season I would have been certain that the answer would be Ciron Black, but with Ciron having something of a down year, I am not so sure. I will resist the Trindon pick because I think we have some dynamic athletes who could excel in the return game. RS on returns anyone? I'd like to see it.
I won't pick Jones because we are still strong in the secondary and I won't pick Scott for a handful of reasons. Gotta go with Riley. I worry about the LB's going into this season.

There is no one from last years team that can't be replaced. LSU has the talent to replace any players athletic skills, but NO ONE last year had any LEADERSHIP skills. This has been missed, as someone earlier stated Flynn, Hester or Dorsey.

McCray recovered a fumble and Alem had a sack.

Gotta be Rahim Alem-I don't know of anyone who can rush the passer on running plays like he could!
