Ohio State has top of the line talent let's get that out of the way right now and one heck of a coaching staff.
I think the 2 biggest problems are depth which causes too much comfort among the starters.
Ohio State practically hands out the starting lineups before spring practice, which makes the starters comfortable, when it comes to game time these guys don't have to fight for anything because they don't have to compete at practice.
It happened at Miami under Coker.SEC players literally fight for their jobs every practice and it shows when they come back from defeats week in,weak out.I also think Ohio State has a lot of players on their team without emotion(and i don't mean to be racist)but I see a lot of northern white guys on the playing field playing like they are statues, and then i see the animated southern players(white and black) and they play with a swagger.

LSU's last TD was also in garbage time so the argument is moot. BTW, haven't you figured out that having a drive at the end of a loss can be a positive for the team in preparation for the next game or season? Teams do it all the time in a loss. The game does last for 60 minutes after all.
31 unanswered pts in a NCG.

Those reasons might be the two dumbest things I've read in a long time.

31 straight points after the blocked fg speaks for me thank you very much.

If the 2006 and 2007 OSU teams were in the SEC you would equate to about a South Carolina and South Carolina doesn't make it to SECCG let alone the BCS.
Are you really that ignorant?

The fact you actually think what you just spewed is true, is pathetic and actually a little sad.

Dude I'm not an analyst on tv nothing I have said is a fact except about you changing your teams every week.I simply stated an opinion on why I think they have had trouble against SEC teams.I also gave Ohio State a lot of compliments and said what I said in respect. However, your reactions and statements haven't mentioned a reason why Ohio State cannot beat an SEC team, only tried to distract others from making their points.Which is pathetic and actually a little sad.Good day to you sir

What does this even mean? Which players are you talking about? Link that discusses this?

1. 2002 Ohio State vs. Miami, how'd that swagger do? Ok.
2. Miami vs FIU

Vs Florida, Ohio State was not ready to play, simple as that. The loss of Ginn hurt a little, but the team wasn't ready.
Vs LSU, speed was a little bit of an issue but not as much as most seem to think IMO. LSU used a bunch of different looks on Offense which was the game on that side of the ball. Todd Boeckman was a 1st year quarterback of a rebuilding team and it showed when he ran into a senior laden LSU defense that came in to smack him in the mouth. LSU was the better team.
Ohio State 2007-2008 >>> Florida 2007-2008
LSU 2007-2008 >> Ohio State 2007-2008

they claimed to be "just as fast" and to "have more pros" - ALL 9 TIMES.

The ranking of OSU in the SEC would be such that they finished 1st about every 7 years, 2nd another time, and 3rd or lower the other 5 years.

I respectfully disagree.

Think about this for a second:
Ohio State would have been first in 2002, not in 03, 04, 05, 06 maybe 2nd or third, last year 2nd or 3rd, this year maybe first, or second.
I would say that's pretty accurate.
What Ohio State is doing in the Big Ten is unheard of and really shows the lack of coaching/talent conference wide as a whole.
I think that Ohio State would be lucky to win the SEC every 5th-6th year. Every 7th is borderline and might be a little high, but its not very far if it is inaccurate.
And if they won the SEC, chances are they go to the MNC game so that would be more than a great accomplishment.

OSU would've won the SEC in 05, IMO.

And from 1968-2002 how many?
Not very many.
I'd say average 5-6 years every SEC Championship is ahead of the curve.
