This makes no sense. Maybe we would be begging for it but we wouldn't just "get a rematch" because we were begging for it.
Yeah, we were lucky in '07, the dominos fell the right way but we also weren't trying to get to a rematch of a team we had already beaten in our conference, let alone the same side of the conference.
Bama can want the rematch all they want but just because they want it doesn't mean they're going to get it. The fact that we already played them and beat them, hurts them with the human voters. And while 2 teams right under them play next week for conference championships (I understand the Big 12 doesn't have that game anymore but it is for what's left of the Big 12) and Bama sits at home, that will hurt them too. Okie State moves up in the BCS even without playing this week because of our win over Arky.

It is what it is. So be it. But no team in the world is going to beat the LSU Tigers in the dome for the national championship. The gumps are in for a rude awakening if they get to play LSU.

First of all I believe Bama's fate rests in the hands of voters who really dont want to see a rematch especially if its an all SEC west rematch. On the other hand they might want to see Heisman front runner TR3 in the big game.
Secondly, Bama will be in the Dome which will pretty much be a home game for us!
Thirdly we have improved so much since we played Bama, where as the gumps have looked pretty average, (with the exception of Richardson)
My main point is that Les Miles is Obee Wan Kanobee to Bama's Darth Saban and this story will not be complete without a rematch. The DVD of this season will suck without it!

I don't think it's written in stone yet. There are still some conference championship games to play, and obviously ok vs OK. If it falls to Bama, it just further proves how screwed up the BCS is...I thought they fixed the problem when OK lost to Kansas in their conference championship game and still went to the NC...It really is about the media and who they think will bring the most money...it's a shame that the NCAA doesn't get a handle on the prostitution of these kids...a playoff is the only way it gets better...a limited playoff of 4 major conferences with 4 conference champions playing each other...this guarantees no 2 teams from the same conference can make the NC...you also have to wonder if they really want to give that much money to the SEC if it is Bama/LSU....time will tell

Man I have never seen so many pusses. Stop being so scared. If both teams have a month a month to prepare and get healthy, the odds are the better team will win. If it is not us, so be it.
