we gave up 50 pts to arkansas last year.......in tripple ot, but still 50, and look what happened...
it was a bad game, something we're not used to, but get over it.....if the trend continues then worry.....but one bad game and people are ready to jump off a cliff......maybe they should!

the trend was here before the loss to uf.
au and msu put up some of there best games against our d. I was happy we won those but the d was having problems. The big concern is we had a week to fix things but we fixed nothing. I don't expect us to win every game or dominate every one but i'd like to see us fix things that are problems. It was clear even in the wins that the d was a problem. They get 0 pressure on the qb and we get 0 turnovers. Just bc we win a game doesn't mean we can't fix something that is a problem.
eta also another concern is les saying our dline won the match up bt the uf oline.
and yes i understand not wanting to throw guys under the bus but that seems a lil far to the other side.

Because our defense is awful regardless of having a lot of talent, and has progressively gotten worse over the last couple of years.
Our shitty defense should have kept us from playing in the BCSCG last year, but Miles an Pelini lucked out big time with that IMPOSSILE turn of events.
Throw in a QB who oftentimes can't hit wide open receivers and who seems to need to throw at least one horrible interception a game, and we're pretty fricked
