That line with Spears, Hill (R.I.P), and Lavalais =
The pass rush those guys along with Kyle Williams gave was unreal. All four made it to the NFL. The best D-line ever at LSU for sure IMO.

Why Isn't Chad Lavalais Considered an LSU Legend
Who said he wasn't? I think it's an example of "what have you done for me lately?"
The life of a lineman is an unglorious one and being forgotten about by all but the most rabid fans is just part of the job. In a couple years people will have forgotten about Dorsey as well.
Oh, and I agree that Lavalais was a beast and will not forget about him or that season any time soon!

Yes, Chad definitely deserves to be recognized as a legend. I'll never forgot the big play late in the tight Ole Miss game in which he pushed the Rebels center into Eli Manning for a big sack to clinch the victory.

ya, after watching that video, i guess it wasn't actually the center that Lavalais blew off the ball, but the LG Doug Buckles. Haven't seen that in years. Man, what a fun season that was.

Chad deserves his props. He was definitely a special athlete at LSU. I'm glad he persevered and stayed was accepted at LSU.

Lavalais was quick off the snap and relentless, always chasing people down, it surprised when it didn't work out for him in ATL.
