Where do you get that from? Why would Miles tell him that when he already had two young QB's on the roster. I'm sure he promised him a chance to compete for a starting spot same as any other recruit.

why wouldn't he? what recruiter is gonna tell a kid that you won't get the chance to compete until 3 years down the road, they won't come, I wouldn't. RP was pissed he couldn't play right away, that's why his arse stood in trouble.

Read between the lines : CG wasn't making the effort like Miles and the coaches expected. If he couldn't challenge JJ and JL at this point, good chance he was never going to.

Miles wasted 2 years of CG's life? I would think that maybe CG wasted 2 years of his own life if he couldn't beat out JJ and JL. He knew coming in that there were 2 qb's ahead of him and that there was a chance he wouldn't play. In his interview the day he committed he said he was pretty confident he could compete. Maybe he was wrong. Who knows. And before everyone yells give us a link, screw you, it was on tv and I cant link that shite.

This happens to every team in the country every year. Other players on our team received them too. Schollies are year to year.
