Here is a clip of Chad Jones running down McFadden. If not for a big block from a fellow Razorback, McFadden gets caught from behind on this play.

McFadden runs a 4.3 40. Chad Jones is faster.

I knew Chad Jones had wheels but, Wow... did you see that closing speed.

If Appy State has the next five weekends open for him to heal – then A.E. plays the whole game. :jump1: :jump2:

I hope you're not implying that Chad Jones runs better than a 4.3.

Personally I don't think the coaches will risk him for the season against LSU esp with it being the first game. So I think they will try and protect him as much as possible

We specialize in knocking out QB's.Ask Va.Tech,South Carolina. That's how we dominate. Wouldn't want to be him..

its rediculous to predict an injury specifically one on a guy thats faster than your entire D-line and linebackers. as long as he can avoid any cheap shots he'll make it just fine. we don't run too many plays that keep him staying behind the line of scrimmage with the ball for long anyway.

I don't know. They were both in pads obviously, not on the track. Also, McFadden may not have been running at top speed, I don't know.

It would be interesting to line them up and race on a track.

Should we contact Wofford's coaching staff and ask them how they beat App State last year? Is Wofford even listed in the phone book?

This thread is a load of BS. I understand that LSU fans have the reputation of being passionate about their team, just didnt realize that they also rooted for the injury of another teams player. I understand that "sportsmanship" may not be a term often used in the LSU community but at least show a little class. All I can hope for is a hard fought game with NO INJURIES.

Also how often have I heard this crap about LSU knocking the starting QB's out of however many consecutive games. Since when did harming of another competitor something to hang your hat on??

Dude will leave the game due to cramping, prolly not to injury.

as a former coach I know it would effect an offensive coordinators game planning.

No one is pulling for an injury but the LSU defense has been knocking stating QB's out of games since around 2003. Teams that run their quarterbacks need to plan to cut back on that shite when they play LSU.

Keeping your starter in there for the whole game might be all a visiting team has to "brag" about.

Dude will leave the game due to severe cramping, not injury.

The QBs were not pulled due to injury but rather to keep them from getting injured. If the D can get to the QB enough times to make that happen, then yes I, personally will be happy.

Recent posters are on point. He doesn't have to be injured to need to come out of the game. If he gets the amount of carries he did on an average game last season, he'll be beat up pretty good.

The guy doesn't need to be dropped back to get hit. He's going to take a blow every time he carries, unless he can scamper out of bounds...obviously, this will be the game plan. He's not Tebow. The guy is elusive, but he is slight of build.
