I could have sworn Les said the same thing at half-time. So I checked.

I'm not a huge Les Miles fan but this seems like an immature thing for Blackwell to say.

The game plan that I watched miserably unfold from my seat.

No, I didn't watch it again. I deleted it the next day. However, I went to ESPN3 and looked at the halftime interview. I think the OCs in the press box were confused with why the plays weren't working against that alignment and went off script.

None of the things I talked about are on par with your examples.

I think the OCs in the press box were confused with why the plays weren't working against the defensive alignment they were shown and went off script.
Between that an the ball control Alabama was showing (eating up clock) and the offensive mistakes, they simply panicked themselves out of the gameplan.

quote:First, don't attempt to put words in my mouth. I said that it was a "pretty fair" assessment. I don't think that Jefferson was choking. I think that he wasn't executing well. There's a difference. The opponent was a big factor in that.
So if you agree that he was having problems don't you think the coaches "specific knowledge" should have been altered at halftime.
Second, there were a lot of players on the offense who were not executing well in the first half. That doesn't mean that you yank them.
Third, the fact that players were not executing well in the first half did not mean that they would not execute well in the second half.
Fourth, the fact that one player is not executing well does not mean that his backup will execute better. Changing a player does not change the opponent Bama to NWSU. Jefferson had better passing numbers in the regular season. Jefferson had infinitely better rushing numbers. The offense performed better when Jefferson was the QB in the regular season. Jefferson plays much better against Alabama than Lee.

And? He's not on the team. Why would Miles need him?
I guess some boys have a hard time moving on. Maybe the rantards expect Les to call him up in tears telling Will how much he misses him already. "To hell with recruiting! I miss Will so much!

Of course you don't.
He had 3 fumbles, and 2 ints, and one first down in the first half. 4 in the second.
What else do you call that?

Also, nice reference to Picketts charge. Exactly the same situation. One side kept trying the same plan over and over to the complete devastation of its forces. The LSU offense was devasted. Look at the comments from Boone, Randle, RS, Lee, Blackwell, DP. I mean c'mon. Thats half the squad
BTW, when asked to assemble his division to protect the retreat. Pickett was quoted as saying "General, I have no division." Telling.

Man stated JJ was choking and you replied fair assesment. If you thought he just wasnt executing well then you should have said that, even though thats just flat out untrue.
Say fricking what?
