Started at middie, then attack played some defense on man down and once played goalie because the goalie was in the box.

Lacrosse as a sport is great for Louisiana, there is no reason the South shouldn't play. It's good for football players as a spring sport and I think we could really excel if/when the sport grows.

Let's not joke with ourselves. Lacrosse is not nearly enough prevalent in the state to start a Division I team at LSU.
Look I come from ATL where there's about 4x-5x more Lacrosse high school teams in that area than the entire state of LA.
There are 13 teams in the entire state of LA. Nobody plays it, not nearly enough to think of having anything but a club team at LSU.

Former DB Rob Cutbirth came out to play with us one season and that mofo ran over me like a freight train. Dude was fast.
