Yeah, I was about to mention that play. I was speaking more last year than anything else when I was mentioning Trindon touching the ball basically every time he got on the field on the offensive end.

The Florida Trindon hook and ladder is another play I'd like to see next year. I may be wrong in this but I don't remember us running the fake counter pitch outside play last year. That play was money in 07. In my dream world I like to go back to the Arky double OT and have that play ran for the 2 pt conversion.

imagine if shep (a real homerun threat) was the QB handling that pitch. that's using your speed. UF doesn't even do a triple option with that kind of speed

that play is very money. i remember seeing it in a mix of crowton's playcalling at la tech in 98. i was waiting and waiting to see it here. i had almost given up on the hope

if we did it was minimal, if it's the play i'm thinking about. fake FB dive/pitch to speed back (usually keiland, sometimes murph). that play is HARD to stop if they respect the FB

sounds like a very money play for the phantom keiland-scott i-form

Expect a whole lot of this formation. All this talk of using walk-on o-linemen as a FB just sounds wrong.

We've been through this already, LSU has just as much team speed as any of the other top teams in the country, with the only exception being Rainey and Demps at Florida. We are recruiting the same athletes the other top teams are recruiting.

Yeah, we're on the same page with the pitch play. We used it a lot in 06 and 07. It's money in short yardage.

I'm highjacking the frick out of this thread but the play ran at :30 of the LSU/Florida game highlight was one I missed last year too. The QB roll out/reciever wide on other side cuts in for the screen and inside reciever blocks his corner. Presuming Jefferson starts I think we'll see the return of that with the presence of a more mobile QB.

ah the slip screen? that was definitely a jimbo holdover play that crowton incorporated

you don't need a mobile QB for that play. we just didn't run it last year

we kind of shut down the offense later in the year, so i'm not surprised

Has Holliday ever snagged a mid-field reception from the slot?

The UF guys run DOWN HILL in those vids.

Our guys tend to dance a little too much.

For my money, Trindon is a track guy and a football guy, playin football and running track.

I was about to say that even Florida probably won't have speed like this again, but then I remembered that they just went ahead and replaced Harvin with Debose.

Shepard will see the field mid season when Miles feels the "flow of game" was right to insert him.

I was watching Florida's equivalent to "inside lsu football" the sunday after our game last year. CUM pretty much had an erection when talking about Trindon. It seemed like he believed TH would be unstoppable in their offense and we were misusing him.

I'm not so sure about that. Lee is obviously capable of being benched in favor of a true freshman.
