Still sort of amazing that Nutt is willing to take this guy. They must be absolute garbage this year. I mean, I knew they would be pretty poor, but to take a guy that got kicked out of Oregon proves to me that they have nothing this year up in Oxford.

Why bitch about the schedule? If you are LSU you play anybody anywhere, anytime. frick the Brutal schedule argument.

just stating a fact. LSU has an already brutal schedule this year. Ole Miss getting a legit QB doesn't help our chances of beating them.

the Rebs should have a pretty good D this year, led up front by Jerrell Powe

No he's applying to grad school and doesn't have to sit out. Bullsh1t if you ask me. We can't get a damn punter qualified because the NCAA is arse backwards but Masoli can transfer following drug charges and his technicality gets him in. Typical.

they lost mccluster. He was the most underrated player in the country last year and one of the best in the conference. He will be missed more than any other player on that team and they cannot replace him. he was their percy harvin.

yeah, they absolutely will not replace McCluster and all that he brought the table

but they should have a solid running game with Brandon Bolden and Enrique Davis

No. It won't be close.

I like Davis more than Bolden. They're different types of backs that can compliment each other. But let's be serious, McCluster is irreplaceable. He was just that good. The only reason he was barely talked about outside the conference is because of where he went to school.

History says we'll play like crap
Very good point. Since Les has been here, LSU has has looked utterly unprepared and played like dogshit on senior day. This is a trend that must stop.

the problem with Ole Miss is that, while they don't have a very good team on paper, they always seem to play better at the end of the year, and Nutt always coaches better after he's lost four games.

By the third or fourth game, Masoli will be the full time starter at Ole Miss.

Their secondary is weak. Time to open up the passing game on them.
