Still sort of amazing that Nutt is willing to take this guy. They must be absolute garbage this year. I mean, I knew they would be pretty poor, but to take a guy that got kicked out of Oregon proves to me that they have nothing this year up in Oxford.

i think he has to sit out a year

Why bitch about the schedule? If you are LSU you play anybody anywhere, anytime. frick the Brutal schedule argument.

the Rebs should have a pretty good D this year, led up front by Jerrell Powe
Posted on 8/1/10 at 11:07 pm to jlsutiger
No he's applying to grad school and doesn't have to sit out. Bullsh1t if you ask me. We can't get a damn punter qualified because the NCAA is arse backwards but Masoli can transfer following drug charges and his technicality gets him in. Typical.

won't be their full time starter....wow, gotta love being an lsu fan.
thats what they are saying. gonna split time so stanley gets some experience and since he's been taking all the first team reps. guy will have 1 month of practice before the first game and he's gonna step in to start? I love rantards

they lost mccluster. He was the most underrated player in the country last year and one of the best in the conference. He will be missed more than any other player on that team and they cannot replace him. he was their percy harvin.
Posted on 8/1/10 at 11:11 pm to Tiger Authority
yeah, they absolutely will not replace McCluster and all that he brought the table
but they should have a solid running game with Brandon Bolden and Enrique Davis

No. It won't be close.

I like Davis more than Bolden. They're different types of backs that can compliment each other. But let's be serious, McCluster is irreplaceable. He was just that good. The only reason he was barely talked about outside the conference is because of where he went to school.

the first time that cat tries to break one, PP will put his arse on the sideline

quote:Very good point. Since Les has been here, LSU has has looked utterly unprepared and played like dogshit on senior day. This is a trend that must stop.
Les miles on senior day:
2005 - 19-17 win over ark
2006 - ot win over miss
2007 - 3 ot loss to ark
2008 - double digit thumping by ole miss
2009 - ot win over ark
History says we'll play like crap

the problem with Ole Miss is that, while they don't have a very good team on paper, they always seem to play better at the end of the year, and Nutt always coaches better after he's lost four games.
Posted on 8/1/10 at 11:20 pm to jlsutiger
If a Houston Nutt coached team beats LSU 4 straight....
Posted on 8/1/10 at 11:22 pm to Elleshoe
By the third or fourth game, Masoli will be the full time starter at Ole Miss.

Their secondary is weak. Time to open up the passing game on them.
