2. FSU 91 - car flooded at Sharlo ... game highlight was Todd K rerurn for TD, and Bowden's halftime comment "a-a-at bouy can run a-at ball"
3. Oregon St 04 ... will never forget the tatooed streeker
4. Fresno ... lost an ez-up pregame

quote:no, that's what is so weird. you'd think i would remember it raining in heels and a dress...apparently not...
you don't remember it raining at the Oregon State game in 2004?
i remember being forced to eat a hot dog because i was so hungry, and it was all the concession stand had left.

88 Miami....nothing even comes close. it was like the eye of a hurricane was on the fifty...and when it moved out a freezing cold front moved in....with it still pouring.
80 Tulane.....we went under and watched from the opening in the southeast corner.....there was as much water leaking through the south upper as there was on the field....it did no good to go under....

OK – the rest of you old farts back me up: Ole Miss 1970 – every other rain game was like walking in a drizzle compared to that cold, nasty night when we beat the stuffing out of Archie.

It could not ever have rained as hard as when Miami kicked our arse
Poured like an SOB the entire first half, quit during halftime (I did the Old Folks GBFTL show), then the north wind howled in during the second half and we froze to death. Never, through the 1979 Liberty Bowl, the end of the season game against Wyoming, several downpours in more recent years, was I ever as miserable as that game against UThug. Didn't help that they totally embarrassed us on the field either.

FSU 91 and Mississippi State 96. At both of these games and it was incredible the amount of rain and flooding that was in the stadium and around the area and we still played! I love it!
