Umm, I think you are looking through some huge p&g glasses on that one. We have one of the deepest WR corps in the nation. Once developed, TT, Depete, Chris Mitchell & company plus Brandon Lafell already said he's probably coming back... I think Bama would be able to get RR way more balls thrown to him than we would. Crowton spreads the ball around way too much to have that 1 receiver that blows up as long as he has a QB that is developed enough to run his offense.

I think the drops have a direct correlation to the inaccurate passer of JL. Think about it, if you are used to bad pass after bad pass most of the times the WR's usually aren't on the same page as the QB.
Thus leading to the WR's not selling out their bodies and not making the exceptional catches.
I was listening to a call in show (not sure where I was) but caller made a great point...
Name the 2 BEST balls JL threw Saturday....
The TD to DByrd and the On the Hands DROP by the other guy.
Now knowing this and seeing it clearly after a few games, why doesn't the OC try to use this to our advantage and JL's advantage and stretch the field. He has a strong arm and a nice deep ball, SO why not use it more??
He CAN NOT THROW AND OVER THE MIDDLE PASS, yet we continue to throw to those routes??

Speaking of receivers where is JMitch. Where is the screen play. I know that he can help this team. What's up with Miles not putting him on the feild at all. After watching the Spring Game I thought that he would be getting a chance to return some kick offs also.
Miles already said in his press conference that JMitch is used mostly when Hatch is in for the quick screen. They have separate packages. Just like CMitch is Lee's man

Each play has a probability rating. The deep ball is least likely to be completed, too much has to go right to make a deep pass, Oline has to hold, QB has to make a strong throw, WR has to run a good route without getting pressed, and the timing has to be perfect.
The quick outs and slants seem to work with Lee once he gets in a rhythm. The problem is, he is too green to find that rhythm early. The WRs have to bail him out and Lafell has been doing a great job at doing that sometimes. The few drops have hurt, but he isn't getting that many opportunities as well. I think we need to lean on Lafell much more actually and use Dbyrd to stretch the field. Tolliver will fit in perfectly once Lee gets into that rhythm. Oh yea, it doesn't hurt when the defense can get us some good field position from time to time.

Or how about putting RMurphy in the slot and getting it to him in the screen and letting him make moves in open space;
I mean its almost the same as the "Wildcat", only problem is JL has to throw the quick screen and he didn't look good throwing it the other night...EWWWWWWW

The reason Julio breaks tackles, everybody trys to tackle him by the shoulder pads, and he keeps going, gaining five to six more yards...KNOCK HIS LEGS OUT FROM UNDER HIM
