In my opinion, if he doesn't get this right by getting a young, dynamic offensive coordinator, leaving him alone to run his system and letting him bring his own support staff in, then Orgeron is not going to be the head coach for long.
There's no way in hell you can continue to have a bottom half offense at a program like LSU and consider that a success. And there's no two ways about it, Steve Ensminger is not going to give you a top 50 offense.

While it's not perfect, this is a product of the antiquated offensive system LSU has ran since Jimbo Fisher left. Pro style offenses require Pro players on the offensive line. Other teams with far less Talent on the offensive line manage to scheme around their issues or at the very least, coach them up properly.
Get the aforementioned young, dynamic coordinator and the offensive line problem takes care of itself. How people here don't see that when there are literally dozens of examples all throughout college football, just blows my mind and tells me that they're either ignorant or trying to make excuses to protect somebody they're enamored with.

Let that sink in by the way. LSU hired a coach with a rap sheet like that and his only actual head coaching experience was a catastrophic failure. We also have an AD who was at the heart of that Duke lacrosse bullshite. Just saying, you might want to dial that back a notch
Don't forget they let con artists with felony records like Derek Ponamsky hang around the program
