LSU Vs Alabama
Don't know the year, don't know who one, I was too young.

First that I can remember was Rice game in 1977!

No one can beat this. Jan 1 1966 Cotton Bowl, opposite press box stands, second level on the 45, three rows from the front drop-off. Windy, forty degrees, and experiencing that crappy PIG SOOEY cry for the first time. LSU 14 ARK 7 (ARK was # 2 in the nation prior to the game). My first LSU home game... Sept 1973 against Colorado.

My Dad tells me he started taking me in 1977. The first game I can place is the final home game in '79 against Moo State. Coach Mac got a caddy at halftime and they announced the Tangerine Bowl invite while we were walking out.

I can't remember the exact year…but it was sometime in the early/mid 80's….LSU played Rice and Jeff Wickersham was the LSU QB. That is about all I can recall...

I don't really even remember. I think it might have been Washington or Wichita State in the early 80's (some team with a "W" on the helmet). I definitely remember that Wickersham was QB, and LSU kicked arse that night. I also vaguely remember watching Hilliard and James destroy Rice on television, which was the first time I remember seeing LSU on cable. My first road game was watching LSU play Tulane in the Superdome. My first game in the student section was Kevin Faulk's finest, the '96 game against Houston.

1988 Lsu vs Auburn. I was in fourth grade and my friend's dad got us into the locker room about 4-5 hours before gametime. As we walked by one of the lockers I couldn't help but try on someone's game helmet and got it stuck on my head. It took two trainers to pry it loose. We made our way through the tunnel and sprinted the full length the field before coming back to attempted extra points with the kicker. That night we sat in the upper west bleachers and watched LSU pull off an amazing victory. Needless to say I was hooked.

Auburn in '80 don't remember it though, I was only 2
The first one I remember was driving down from Boston in '86 to see the Notre Dame game, really helped get me over the Buckner game from a month earlier, Tiger Stadium was F'in LOUD

Holy shite, that's a great story. I was in 5th grade, and sat around the 10-15 yard-line in the NE corner, right where all the action went down. Needless to say, I was hooked as well.

I think Doc Fenton and I may have been at the same game.

my wife was delivering my baby during that game--a little upset that me and her doctor were watching the cut-in from ESPN. I remember thinking how far we'd fallen w/ Curley, then how little it mattered when by baby was born.

1977, LSU 77, Rice 0. Kinda spoiled me.
