Clearly a flaw in the plan.
You need to read the book, "Dies the Fire" by S.M. Stirling. They had to deal with the Eaters too.

Only if you bring 1) frosty machine, 2) frosty mix and 3) generator to run said frosty machine (plus gasoline).
In Dies the Fire, something happens which causes all accelerated combustion above basic fire to stop. No guns, no cars, no nuclear power, etc.

I would like to maintain my objection to the mini-cows.
Unless you want mini-burgers and mini-steaks, regular cows are the way to go.

Transport how? Do you think there will be gas at the gas stations? Those mobile-steaks will have to hoof it (pun intended). I prefer a full-size cow to use as a pack animal and they have to take fewer steps.
The patter-patter of mini-cows hooves will drive me crazy.
