Annuities are criminal.
The only person that does well from an annuity is the salesperson.
Annuities should be heavily, heavily regulated.
Annuities are worse for most families than reverse mortgages.

generally the only time you would want an annuity is if you didnt have enough cash flow from you investments etc to live on ( 4% rule). Annuities can pay a higher return since they are paying your principal back to you. Of course your heirs get little or nothing.
