This one sure has been on a nice run. Anyone think it will touch $80 by year’s end?

You may well be one of the only Folks on this board that has brought a long term winner I'm only in for a few shares but ASO looks like a long hold. Congrats on the sugguestion early on

Thanks! Up 95% since I bought. Missed a bit of the run up but still done great. Now to decide whether to hold or sell after it hits long term gains status. I always hold too long trying to put off paying taxes.

ETA: just remembered its in Roth IRA so I can sell whenever without tax consequences. But should I?

Here's my basic decision tree:

1) Do you believe in the company/biz as a consumer? Who could displace them, for you?
2) What alternative investment / allocation is probable to acheive higher yield? why?
3) What near/ long term catalysts will fundamentally change the company's trajectory for revenue or profit?

FWIW - I haven't sold a single share

As I stated way earlier in the thread this is a long term hold of mine as well. The company is executing well.

5 of their Senior VPs filed forms yesterday stating they are no longer subject to Section 16 rules (have to report insider buys/sells) but they are retaining their SVP positions.

What am I missing? How can they still be in executive leadership positions but not subject to insider reporting rules?

William Ennis - SVP, CHRO
Sherry Harriman - SVP Logistics and Supply Chain
Maini Manish - SVP Chief Information Officer
Jamey Rutherford - SVP Omnichannel
Rene Casares - SVP General Counsel

My links didn't work but they all filed June 1.

I believe if they own less than 10% of the company they are not subjected to filing.

They also issued a statement about some changes to their stock incentive plans. I have not read through it yet.

Shares popped back pretty fast, on a pretty weak earnings.

Guessing they are definitely feeling the slow down

Obviously sentiment is low, and they lowered outlook. I am still holding, because they are still extremely under valued to their peers like Dicks. However, some of it is justified because they never seem to able to drive online sales with their awful website and approach.

What keeps me holding is they have a strong customer base in a growing business footprint

Agree. If it gets much lower I'll be adding to my position.

Possibly the worst online experience of any retailer I’ve ever used.
