Agreed, if you had to "pay" to join their community then I think their activities would line up more with fraud.
My main issue with it is the slippery slope they could create by saying tweets or discord messages(or other social media platforms) could be market manipulation. Seems like a very broad point.

This is not a close case...they have a clear record of the tweets/posts and transactions plus these ding-dongs thought they were chatting in a pvt discord room that turned out to be public and they clearly state they know they are "stealing". Again, dummies stealing from dummies...which should be the name of this era.
