When stocks like AUPH get bought out they are usually above 90% Institutional ownership. There's a reason for that. People like you and I get scared and sell to a firm who loves getting our shares.
Think about it...If this thing had walked down to 10.85 today, how many folks holding a few hundred or a few thousand shares would have sold? A lot.
And perhaps, just maybe, 10.85 was exactly what the big firms wish they could have bought at today...knowing that $20-30 is a near certainty at some point soon. $45 and beyond if bought out.
Look at who owns this and how much they own. Those folks don't care what price they bought at. They know the game.

multi thousand share holder...sold 1/3 of holdings high teens...bought more at $13.39 than I sold earlier...very long here.

Merck got approval on their drug one day before the PDUFA, didn’t announce till this morning though. My guess is if AUPH gets the word tomorrow they will likely announce quickly
