Yeah, this feels like making money by predicting that the winter will be colder than the summer.

Sure, it's more complicated than that but I've made good money on KOLD and now UGAZ. Mostly by trading the fluctuations and being content with reasonable gains. Thanks to all in this thread.

Cash is up .18 at HH. I think we get a negative injection report Thursday. I can sense a little run up here.

Force, what kind of sell targets do you have for UGAZ?

And is there any specific time frame you're looking at, or are you just selling when it hits your target and then reevaluating the next play?

Absolute disconnect between the etp's and future's pricing. Down we go. I think this week is going to be a wild ride.

Margin changes on contracts. This will have pricing impact. On the future's side, the cost of poker just went up and should knock some folks out today.

What you think Iowa should I sell off 1000 shares @ 15.88 and take some profit and hedge DGAZ again? I sold @ 3.84 my 3000 shares from 2.80......

Allowed me to buy more UGAZ.

I'm confused what this week brings........If projected is bigger than -10 we could be due for a bump down.

Guys this is a dumb question, but is DGAZ something that would be a buy and hold strategy? I'm trying to figure out what you guys are doing so I can do some research.

I'm still learning this trade, so you should ask IowaGolfer & LSU force, but my understanding is the leveraged ones (UGAZ, DGAZ etc) are very, very poor buy and hold instruments due to decay from having to roll the futures contracts they are based on every month.

I'm really at a loss to project any kind of pricing right now. I'm in agreement about buying DGAZ, but I'm going to wait for it get closer to last year's low price before I do this. With respect to your long etf, if it were me, I'd hold out for more profit.

Margin increase and contract expiry. Strange days indeed. UNG down. UNG Jan 21 calls down. UNG Jan 26 calls up.

Cash is up a dime. 2 injection reports and contracts expiring on the 25th. What will it be, what will it be? Frankly this go around I can't even venture an educated guess. I'm staying put for now.

Holy crap, assuming that means net outflow from storage. Ie, coming out of storage now as fast as it was going in a few weeks ago.
