Lots of rumblings of toxic assets brewing over there. Not necessarily because of brexit, but perhaps a convenient scapegoat. Time will tell.

Barclays (BCS) up 14 percent the last week. Curious if any of yall that bought in are going to try and ride it out higher or sell soon.

I'm in at 7.03 and planning on riding it. If you aren't happy seeing short term volatility then I would take your gain and run as I don't think the big swings are even close to over on this one. I am relatively confident though that 5 years from now I'll be happy with the investment.

I just sold the last of my Brexit bank stocks. No huge killing but a modest $3,000 gain. S

Yeah I closed out of my UBS and Barclays with some decent gains from brexit. Still holding onto my June 24th $61 JPMorgan shares. Up a solid 40% and think I may be able to close out above $90/share.

Financials have definitely had a strong close to 2016 after the weak start.

I'm still holding BCS.

On 6/24, I said to buy:

FSB was $31.75/share, it's now $40.00/share
Pinnacle was $48.31 and it now $71.15/share
BCS was $8.89 and it's now $11.74/share

I said to hold off on Regions which was $8.89 and is now $14.05/sjare

Good Call with Regions. I my DCA for RF shares on the 24th was for $8.86. Took my profits right after the election on 11/10 for $12.21.

But more of it and get your cost basis down. I had to do this LVS years ago when I was in at like $80/share. It got down to under $10 and I bought more to get my costs basis doesn't to like $16/share. I went back up to over $20 eventually and I got out.

SDRL CVEO, APA. The first two are cheap oil related stocks that did well last week. The other is the company that found the 20 billion barrels in west Texas

Well that turned out quite well. Only regret is that I didn't buy a lot more.
