Ethereum is a decentralized app store with thousands of decentralized apps on it.
ETH used to be decentralized. POS ruined that.

Those of you advocating for more centralized exchanges are missing the overall picture of crypto and why it came to be in the first place.
The problem is you'll never get mass adoption without centralized exchanges, and you need mass adoption for crypto to be worth anything.

BTC has been worth tens of thousands without mass adoption.

Well sure all those smart contracts on the chain!!!! Which is probably the number 1 thing exploited today in the Crypto space.
Blockchains are incredibly secure.

DEXs will be the thing going forward, as they should have been from the beginning.

Except it is extremely expensive to run the app directly on the Ethereum virtual machine.. So most apps actually reside in centralized servers that are much cheaper and faster than the slow old technology that is Ethereum Blockchain.
What?
I mean, yes many smart contracts are exploited.. stick with the big ones that have survived a bear and multiple years.
But the rest of that I'm going to need you to explain to me, as someone actively developing smart contracts, what you mean.

Coinbase existed prior to BTC blowing up in bubble 1.0, brother.

I was talking crypto, generally. BTC will hopefully get to be a currency again by stabilizing.

same goes for ETH and many other cryptos. generally speaking they have worth, and that worth is still higher than it was years ago AND they have a fraction of the adoption of BTC.

What does this mean? You can already spend Bitcoin with your Visa card just like you can with the money from your checking account.
