Followed some folks on here into the fertilizer market…specifically MOS. Bought in around 56, sell point was 72.5, which was crushed to 74.5 on Friday with another 52-week high. Curious what other folks in this market have in mind - will planting/harvesting seasons play in here? Is this a long term hold until rus-ukr cools down? Thanks in advance for any input

I don’t think it’s going to cool off any time soon. The Russia-Ukraine factor is definitely a major contributor, but you’ve also got places like China banning exports of fertilizer which also helps these companies.

My wife is a scientist, well a sales rep now but scientist by trade, for an international (Belgium) phosphate company.
Prices are only going higher. Not a certainty for rising shares, but it’s definitely something.
NTR
BG (not strictly fertilizer )
EDRY (not strictly fertilizer)
All are trading at low PE, low beta, solid EPS, and the former two pay a decent dividend.
Digest as you will.
