Truist is the only bigger bank I have around me and I don’t imagine having your business account and checking/mortgage with the same bank is a great idea if you ever get sued.
- starting a small cash pay medical practice and would likely be using credit cards mainly for payment
- I see that some give benefits making tax deductions easier.. not sure what that looks like .. I’ll need an accountant anyway
- Looking through Reddit, a lot of people seem to like chase and mercury.. seems like there is a battle among those threads on whether or not credit unions are good.
—- any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!

I don’t see a problem with having your business account and personal account at the same bank. They are separate accounts with your personal tied to your social security number and your business account tied to your business EIN number. As long as you don’t commingle funds you are fine from a litigation standpoint. I would go with what bank is most convenient for you. If you are mostly taking credit cards this should be easy.

I have both of mine through Regions and I can't think of any issues. I like the fact that I can log in with one account and transfer from my LLC account to my personal and it is instant. The only thing I don't like is I cannot deposit to my business account over the phone, I have to do it in person.
