The author of that piece used an awful lot of direct quotes. He must have had recordings, transcripts, or just extraordinary access to document all that conversation.

trump is just as misguided about manufactoring and the economy as he is about tariffs and what they mean. He thinks laying a tariff on china means china will pay the tariff.
