Might be frown upon but I’m 50/50 on investment vs savings. I get 4.10% now in savings and my investments have gained over 40%.

The inflated jobs report is going to impact the Feds lowering interest rates- I am guessing they are not going to lower the 1/2 they said by the end of the year but maybe only a 1/4

It's a shame that you HAVE to risk your capital in investing just to stay ahead of the government stealing your purchasing power with inflation.

I keep ~ 5,000 in savings getting 4.1%. The rest gets invested after all bills are paid on the first of every month

Similar but I buy weekly.
