I have not taken MADM701 with Kungu, but took McLaughlin. Loved the course and the professor is wonderful. The class is very straightforward. Workload is super manageable and the professor is engaged in the course. I enjoyed it very much and would definitely recommend MADM701 with McLaughlin.

Here is a review on Kungu:

Course: MADM701 w/ Kungu
Difficulty: 1 out of 5
Time Required: 5-6 Hrs Per Week
Grade Received: A
Notes: Summer AP 2 2019 – Kungu is an absent professor – no interaction with the class, no zoom/recorded sessions, and has academic coaches grading the discussion posts and papers. Old & outdated PDF textbook was an OK read, but left this course feeling that I wasted $1200. Do not recommend the professor.

For FIN 701, would you recommend Vines or Kendall?

Hello,

I'm taking Choi. Can you share any info that you acquire about this professor? Just wondering what to expect for the class.

Hi! I am also taking Choi... Would love any insight please. I have read FIN701 is a monster of a course.

Any insight on the professor, course and what to expect would be greatly appreciated!

Are Chen Si's MKT 701 exams marketing scenario or definition based? Thanks.

I'm taking Kungu right now and it's got to be one of the easiest classes in the program. Granted, this is my first class, but it seems to be really easy so far.

This forum is great, but it's tough to research the professors to take for each course in the thread.

Anyone have a list of best professors they'd be willing to share?

Just to elaborate a little more on Kungu...

Every week you will be responsible for reading two chapters and having a weekly exam.

In addition, you have to contribute to a discussion forum every week with a minimum 500-word contribution. This is simple and only requires 2 sources.

Every other week, you will have a 3-5 page paper to write in addition to the above. I would say 10 hours total of work a week should get you plenty of time to get everything done.

Tests are easy so far...

Does anyone have recommendations on any electives with good professors? Preferably ones that you can take together. I am looking to double up in a session with taking two electives. I am having a hard time finding courses that pair well together with manageable workloads (to balance with a full-time job). I have never taken more than one course in a session, so I am quite nervous. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

MKT701 with Chen has been a cakewalk so far with minimum effort on my part. For exams watch through the video lecture and do a quick look in the book of anything she references for you to do so.

I took Vines and ended up dropping class. Felt he made the material way more complicated than it needed to be. I am almost half way done with my program and have never struggled with a class. I do not have a finance background, but have been in business management for 10+ years. Vines made you feel stupid for trying to ask questions or asking to explain formulas.

Hello everyone! I’m considering enrolling into LSUS for my online MBA in Project management.

Can someone please explain to me how the exams were? Were they all proctored and difficult to pass? Just concerned about the exams more than anything tbh

Thanks!

I dropped Vines for my 2nd class, couldn't deal with his handwritten notes, but there are many students who love his style. I ended up taking Sung, in which I learned a lot.

I will add Vine's class is perfect for pairing for those looking for a partner course.
