BLS

The Unemployment Rate dropped .1 while wage growth dropped by .4. Jobs rose by 236k (estimated was 200k, I believe).

As a bit of a footnote, the Labor Force Participation Rate has continued it's slow but steady .1 increase per month rise (going back to November), bringing it back up to 62.6% (which we haven't seen since March 2020).

Healthcare, government and hospitality/leisure were areas with big gains, retail, manufacturing, real estate and construction were areas with big losses. This makes me think we may be seeing a jobs bubble in luxury categories as the much of the big gains were not in necessities (thus it shouldn't be sustainable).

The numbers are total BS. They mean nothing.
